Manned guarding
Private manned guarding has become the most important auxiliary of public law enforcement. Regulated by Law No. 5188 in 2004, the sector has come a long way thanks to companies that take their work seriously and value institutionalisation.
At CAT Güvenlik we have taken important steps towards institutionalisation in manned guarding and consolidated our place in the sector; our development continues. We have certified and accredited our branding and service quality standards.
All members of our senior management are retired law-enforcement officers (Armed Forces, Gendarmerie General Command and General Directorate of Security) and manned-guarding professionals. The discipline and high-performance approach of our management is reflected in our service.
Operating under Law No. 5188, we provide manned guarding in the areas below as the law prescribes. Each area has its own characteristics; officers are specially trained for the requirements of that post.
Officers selected for the post
Physical fitness, training and personal qualities are assessed under four headings.
Written post orders
Shift pattern, equipment, communication and record-keeping rules are written for every post.
Supervision and reporting
Supervisors inspect posts regularly; results are shared with the client.
24/7 availability
Posts and clients can reach head office at any time; incidents are logged in the shift book.
